Why Benevento
Benevento is a real place in Campania, and it’s where the Izzillo family is from. It’s also where Strega was first made, back in 1860 — the same bottle you’ll find behind our bar, and a few others you won’t have seen before.
We’re not recreating the town.
We’re just bringing what we grew up with to Sydney.
